After the Holy Qur’an, the second important book for Muslims is Hadith. Hadith is a saying attributed to the prophet Muhammad (a hadith). Prophet said “I have left among you two matters by holding fast to which, you shall never be misguided: the Book of God and my Sunna.” It is an often quoted saying regarding the sources of Islam.The word hadith literally means: talk, voice and news. In the Islamic definition, ‘Hadith’ is the sayings and actions of Muhammad (peace be upon Allah and peace be upon him) .
Below are few important sayings (Hadith) of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)
“The Most Perfect Man in his faith among the believers is the one whose Behaviour is most excellent and the best of you are those you are the best to their wives”. – Tirmidhi.
“Be Discreet in order to Achieve what you want, for everyone who is blessed in envied”.
“Do not be people without minds of your own, saving that if others treat you well – you will treat them well, and that if they do wrong you will do wrong. Instead, accustom yourselves to do good if people do good and not to do wrong if they do evil. ” (Al-tirmidhi # 1325).
The holy prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: “I, and the one who looks after an orphan, will be together like this in the next world” (muslim)
